Kinesitherapie

Our Kinesitherapy program offers the student extensive material involving biomechanics, injury assessment, injury treatment, in-depth analysis of musculoskeletal functions through manual muscle testing and biomechanical evaluations of the client's presenting physical issues. This course allows the therapist to specialize in sport massage techniques, taping techniques, myofascial techniques and mobilization techniques. After completing this course, therapists will obtain an understanding of the human musculoskeletal system in more depth than all other courses. This course is ideal for anyone looking to treat athletic populations, therapists aspiring to work in a fitness centre or multidisciplinary clinic.
Internship Program

Our internship program opportunity allows students to work in a spa or clinic with supervision from various experienced therapists. Along with revision of case studies, the students have the opportunity of accumulating hours and working towards a potential job position at their internship site.

Therapeutic Massage

This course teaches you techniques to aid in healing of common chronic conditions such as tendonitis, bursitis, migraines, low back pain and thoracic outlet syndrome. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to help your clients to reduce aches and pains that have been lingering for years.
Sport Massage

This course teaches you techniques to aid in the healing of sport specific injuries. You will learn common injuries in different sports as well as different athletes and their body types. Deep Tissue Massage

This course teaches you essential techniques to provide a quality deep tissue massage. You will learn to utilize your strength and use different parts of the body to your advantage to massage your tougher clients. This course involves the effective use of silicone & plastic cups to apply suction to muscles and the surrounding tissues in order to relieve tensions and increase circulation. Popular in the modern athletic world, upon completion of this course, you will confidently be able to add cupping techniques to your current treatments.
Myofascial Massage

Prenatal Massage

Lymphatic Drainage

This course is designed to learn techniques that encourage drainage of the lymph and activation of the lymphatic system. In activating the lymphatic system, the extremities and body benefits from less swelling in extremities, reduction of visible cellulite and overall a thinner physical appearance. This type of massage is ideal for massage therapists who work with post-operative clients and clients subject to fluid retention among several other benefits.
Hot Stone Massage

This course allows the therapist to master the art of massaging with hot stones and utilize the benefits of heat stored within the stones. Both dynamic massage techniques and stone placement are covered in this course and give the therapist all the necessary tools to utilize hot stones to encourage healing.
